Application:

The BIOFIL® KLÍMA Soil Structure and Water Balance Improving Soil Bacteria Soil Conditioner is for use on sandy soils, sandy loam physical semi-loam soils, humic sandy soils, loose or degraded porous soils (pH 5.0 - 8.0) to stimulate soil microbial life and soil structure, and to improve soil and plant water balance, in all arable and horticultural crops, at a rate of 50 to 400 l/ha, depending on soil moisture content and application equipment, sprayed on the soil at the time of soil preparation or at the latest at sowing, and then applied at a depth of 5 to 10 cm.

The product is a two-component product:

'A3' component dose:

1-2 l/ha (2 l/ha in horticultural crops).

"The dosage of the additive component 'Extra' is 1 - 2 %:

1-2 l/ha (for sandy soils with less than 1,5 % humus content and horticultural crops at least 2 l/ha).

The BIOFIL® "Extra" additive can also be applied in combination with any other BIOFIL® product! It is advisable to carry out a mixability test before application!

The use of these products is not recommended for soils with a strong bond - clay loam, clay loam or silty clay loam! In the case of no till or direct sowing, the product can be applied to the seed furrow at a rate of 30-40 l/ha.

Mechanism of action:

Component "A3" contains bacteria capable of producing large quantities of a special EPS (exopolysaccharide) with "adhesive action" and biofilm formation, which is necessary for the formation of a fine crumb structure and water retention. The "Extra" component contains nutrients, plant sugars and various extracts necessary for bacterial growth. The polysaccharides (EPS mucilages) produced by the bacteria play an adhesive role in aggregate building and form a biofilm on the surface of the aggregates. The bacterial strains in the BIOFIL® Climate product also produce large quantities of these special mucilages (EPS), supporting aggregate formation and water retention.
