Blanket foil - What exactly is a blanket foil ?

Due to its fibrous structure, the veil film allows air, light, precipitation, irrigation water and spray to pass through, thus providing an optimal microclimate for plant germination and growth. Its application results in high yields, better product quality and earlier harvesting. Protects against variable weather and pests.

How does the veil cover work ?

By covering the plants with plastic sheeting, we can ensure that they have better temperature and humidity conditions in the immediate vicinity. The covering warms the soil, the plant and the air during the day and the heat stored is partially prevented from escaping at night.

Use of the veil film

In which crops is it recommended?

It is excellent for growing vegetables such as lettuce, spinach, radish, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, cucumber, melon, early potatoes, leeks, courgettes and various herbs. It can be used in the field, in gardens, in greenhouses and in greenhouses.

When should it be used?

UV-17 AGRO film should be used immediately after sowing or planting.

How to use the film

Apply loosely to the ground without stretching. The edges are loosened every 50 cm. In larger areas, or if you want more effective pest control, you can lay the plastic sheeting in a circle. Flowering plants such as strawberries, cucumbers, courgettes, etc. are opened for a few days for pollination. Other plants can remain covered until harvest.

Can these films be used several times ?

With careful handling, UV-17 AGRO can be used several times. Store in a dark and dry place.
