In fertilizer granules coated with Poly-S technology, the nitrogen is surrounded by a sulfur-containing and biodegradable polymeric membrane layer.
Once soil moisture enters the outer membrane layer, nitrogen begins to dissipate. Depending on the thickness of the envelope, nitrogen release can take several months.
Nitrogen release remains steady even if soil temperature or soil moisture content changes.
The nutrient release of Poly-S coated fertilizers closely follows the nutrient needs of the lawn with minimal nutrient loss.
Provides efficient nitrogen delivery because nutrient leaching is significantly reduced.
