Mung bean sprouts:
High in protein, rich in vitamins A, B, C, E, iron, phosphorus and folic acid.
High folic acid content helps cholesterol metabolism. It is a good source of fibre, supports colon function, blood sugar regulation and aids digestion. Its iron content also contributes to haematopoiesis.
It has a taste similar to sugar peas, making it a favourite sprout for children.

Grown in the Kiepenkerl growing box:
Distribute 1.5 tablespoons of seed into the drain tray. Then pour in water and allow to drain.
Put the lid on and place the tray in a bright place out of direct sunlight.
Rinse 2-3 times a day until the crop is harvested.
